  • Start Times
Start times for each race are different, based on light and season. Please see the schedule on the event webpage for more. We'd love it if you arrived for Registration 45min - 1 hour before your race start. If we're running slow, we'll prioritize the races in order.
  • Venue
The venue for each race is different as we aim to expose you to all the best locations in the Magaliesberg. Each event builds to a bigger 80km Ultra Loop. All venues are accessible by 98% of vehicles. We do suggest you leave the Porsche at home though. Please see the event page of your race for more on the locations.
  • GPX Files
GPX routes will be emailed 1-2 days before the race.
  • Route and Venues
All routes are designed to progressively get harder, to help you build your running along. Routes feature known trails and new trails. Our routes are on private land and require permission from the land over to run on. Please consult with us before you decide to re-run the race route you just ran!
  • Why Harties and the Magaliesberg
Why not? Thomas and Terence have been running these trails for 10 plus years. It's only fair we share the beauty and epic-ness of the Magaliesberg we have fallen in love with.
  • Dogs & Cats
Sadly, all our races are not pet friendly, as requested by the land owners.
  • Food & Drinks
At each venue we will have an array of food and drinks available for purchase from vendors! Want to be a vendor? Email us!
  • Hiking
We do allow hikers on the shorter courses, 6km and 12km. As this is a Trail Running race we ask for understanding of this and respect for our course times. Please do not leave us waiting or be out there longer than 4.5 hours.
  • Ages
We encourage all ages to race! As long as you or your child are capable in your eyes to follow route marking, we are happy they run. We accept no responsibility.
  • Prizes
We have on average, about R15 000 in spot prizes which will be handed out at random. We also have R10500 total in cash prizes for the Long course podium winners, Male and Female. Elite entries entered with a free entry will have their race fee deducted from total winnings. All podium winners receive an entry to the next race.
  • Timing and Results
We use our own timing system. Our goal is to change things up a little. We're over bulky bibs and long PDF results. Bare with us as we develop this for you and all future races! Results should be emailed to you about 5-10 minutes after you finish! How insane is that! Not happy with your result - Run Quicker! If we have made a mistake, contact us!
