More on the Race

The toughest 21km trail race in Gauteng and the North West, the Iron Throne Challenge is not for the faint-hearted. The 21km features a monstrous 1800m of vert in 5 climbs totalling around 1800m of ascent. The 12km and 6km are tough enough too featuring similar punchy climbs and tehcnical trails.

Compulsory Gear

All runners are required to be “Self-Sufficient”

At a minimum, we require all runners to carry a cell phone.

22km Gear:

• 500ml Water Capacity
• Cellphone
• Space Blanket
• Wind or Rain Jacket (Weather Dependant)

Why the Harties Trail Experience?

Will there be media?

Adventure Life Media Services will provide videos throughout the event, Photo updates, a final album via social media, and live streams of key sections.
